Meet Derek
Nearly a decade ago I began my career as a Real Estate Broker in Southwest Washington. In that time, I've helped folks buy and sell properties from $10,000 to over a $1,000,000. I treat my clients with respect and share with them my knowledge of our communities and experience within the local real estate market. I particularly enjoy working with first time home buyers/sellers and folks relocating to our area. I love acting as guide and curator of their initial experiences in this wonderful region. It is my sincere wish to have every client find a solid property that meets their needs and will serve them well in the future.
Expertise
The real estate market and temperamental at times. Technology has made information more accessible to everyone, but it can be difficult to keep up with recent events that affect home values. I provide my clients with timely information focused on market seasonality and what is happening in their specific neighborhood
Transactional Excellence
I am committed to transactional excellence for every listing and sale. What this means for you is that I oversee every detail of the real estate transaction. The transaction is far from over once an offer has been accepted. I monitor inspections, appraisals, title, escrow, and loan processes. Communication and collaboration with all the parties involved with the transaction ensures a smooth and timely closing. I am dedicated to getting my clients across the welcome mat and fulfilling their real estate dreams.
Longview, WA
Longview is a great place to live, work, and play. Located 90 miles from the Pacific Ocean and an hour from both Portland and Olympia, Longview is a relatively new city in Washington. Less than 75 years ago, this area was sparsely populated wilderness with only a handful of rural homesteads. The crowning jewel of Longview is Lake Sacajawea. Sparkling with activity, locals love to explore the trails or gaze into the water. A positive, proactive, and hopeful community attitude is prevalent in Longview, which is often described as a successful learning community. Longview has attracted international attention for its Nutty Narrows Bridge – a squirrel bridge allowing squirrels to cross a busy thoroughfare away from the cars. If you’re interested in learning more about Longview, let us know. We’d love to show you around and help you find your dream home.
